Jordan “N0thing” Gilbert Announces Free Agency

Jordan “N0thing” Gilbert Announces Free Agency

If you couldn’t tell from the above picture already, Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert is one of the greatest personalities in esports. The longstanding North American Counter-Strike legend announced his free agency on Monday, May 7th. He was benched by Cloud 9 on August 15th, 2017, along with teammate Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek” in one of the wildest roster changes in esports history after the two formed the original Cloud 9 roster on August 1, 2014 with Sean “Sgares” Gares, Spencer “Hiko” Martin, and Kory “SEMPHIS” Friesen. Cloud 9 replaced the two long tenured players with Tarik “Tarik” Celik and Will “RUSH” Wierzba.

Now that n0thing is a free agent, he has plenty of options available as he is one of the most marketable names in esports. After being benched by Cloud 9 he has worked various events as a broadcaster and analyst for big names such as ESL and ELEAGUE. He is a pleasure to watch on the analyst desk since he has nearly ten years of experience and a great personality.

Will N0thing find a new home in the pro scene with a North American organization? Will he continue to work as an analyst for big-name tournament organizers? Will he continue streaming?

One thing for certain is he has done his best to give back to the community that shaped him by having viewer games Monday-Thursday and sub only games on Friday on his stream at //www.twitch.tv/n0thing. He also provides tips and fun vlogs from his days on the Cloud 9 roster on his YouTube channel at //www.youtube.com/user/n0thingtv. Whichever path N0thing chooses to take in the future, we wish him nothing (no pun intended) but the best.
