At E3 2001, XBox co-creator Seamus Blackley approached famed game developer Warren Spector inside the Microsoft booth. Instead of exchanging pleasantries, Seamus grabbed Warren by the shoulders and planted his face three inches from Warren’s saying, “Look me in the eyes and tell me you’re going to make Thief and Deus Ex for consoles.”
When Warren replied that he was and that he needed to know how to get them approved for the XBox, Seamus simply stated “you’re approved.”
