Review: REMATCH GLOW Advanced Wired Controller: Call of Duty

If you don’t mind a wired connection, the PDP Wired Controller will not disappoint! It’s lightweight, has a comfortable grip, and features dual rumble motors that make those intense Call of Duty moments feel real. You can fully customize the controller using the PDP Control Hub app on your Xbox or PC. After a few rounds of COD, I got a feel for the controller (though I did fumble a bit at first adjusting to the lack of grips). Still, for the price, this controller is one I’d recommend.

Features/Design/Comfort

There are a couple of standout features I’d mention—first and foremost, the customization options. With the advanced PDP Control Hub app, you can tailor nearly everything to suit your gaming style. Once I got the hang of it, I was able to create a setup that made my in-game performance smoother. Options are pretty endless here (re-map buttons, reconfigure triggers, adjust dead zones, etc.).

Another feature that caught my attention: the two-way stop hair triggers. The triggers are hyper-sensitive, requiring just the faintest touch to register an action. At first, I found myself accidentally hitting the triggers but with a bit of practice it was no longer an issue. The controller I use regularly has grips–so it’s just getting a feel for something new.

And let’s not forget the built-in dual rumble motors. Despite the controller’s lightweight feel, these motors take you by surprise and pack a punch, making the in-game action feel all the more immersive. One other bonus feature worth mentioning: it glows in the dark! Fun for late-night gaming sessions.
