(UPDATE: E3 Officially Cancelled)E3 2023 Insider Fearing Cancellation

Update: In an email from Stride PR, PR for Reedpop and E3, E3 has officially been canceled. We received the following email:

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: According to Andy Robinson, Owner of VGC News, has expressed concern that E3 2023 will be canceled. Andy said as much via a Twitter message in which he stated:

“It’s often tough to separate the facts from the conjecture on E3, but unsurprisingly I’m really not hearing good things. Would not be surprised at all if it’s called off this week – but I hope it isn’t. I feel so sorry for those behind it who did everything asked of them”

Information regarding E3 2023 has been scarce other than announcements that Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, Sega, Tencent, and others will not have a floor presence. More worrisome is that Ubisoft, originally confirming that they will have a presence, has decided to move in a different direction.

Many in the media (us included) not having heard anything from either Reedpop or the ESA since registration opened.

Stay tuned as we will update this article once more information is available.

We’ve reached out to both Reedpop and the ESA, but as of this publishing, have not received any new information.
