Resident Evil 0 Remaster For 2016

You will probably have more questions about the awkward fondling of a herb plant in the video released by the team than the details regarding Capcoms announcement to fully remaster Resident Evil 0.

Nonetheless, Resident Evil fans will be glad to hear that the remake (which recently sold over 1 million copies) is getting a HD remaster and is going to be available on all the consoles: Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC. It’s not really a surprise, given the still impressively immense popularity of the game, but this remaster will mark the first time Resident Evil steps across and into the unknown territory of a non-Nintendo platform.

The prequel to the game follows the story of the Bravo Team when they ventured into the unknown of the Arklay Mountains before any of the events of Resident Evil transpired. Taking place mostly on a run away train, you play as both Rebecca Chambers and escapted convict Billy Coen in this epic adventure.

Resident Evil 0 was originally released on GameCube in 2002, and then on Wii in 2008. With the original developers of the game – including the director Koji Oda – working on this remaster, and the increased number of platforms the game will be available on, this will no doubt turn out to be another Resident Evil success.
